For over 18 years it has been The Allied Network’s privilege to serve the needs of single people in Ontario. Regrettably, the economic recession, the resulting decline in discretionary consumer spending and, above all, our inability to compete against free internet dating services that have entered the marketplace has led to our company experiencing a rapid decline in business and ceasing to be viable in the prevailing market conditions. We had hoped that the entry into our traditionally strong summer months would help us overcome these challenges, but unfortunately that has not been the case. Consequently, please be advised of a regrettable but necessary step The Allied Network has taken. Effective July 23, 2010, we have ceased operations and closed our company by voluntarily filing for bankruptcy. Please be assured that the appointed trustee in bankruptcy has taken the necessary steps to secure all personal data and will ensure that it remains private and confidential. If you are an active member or creditor of the company, you will receive in approximately 10 days more information directly from the trustee.
